I first went to Dr. Bocian on Jan. 8 2016 for dull pain and numbness in my right foot. Sharp pains would be intermittent and I would have to walk on my heel in order to make the pain go away. Dr. Bocian determined that is was a Morton neuroma on my 2nd IS right. I was given a cortisone shot which did nothing to help my discomfort. I started laser treatments for painful neuroma 2nd interspace right foot. On March 9, 2016, I finished my 10th laser treatment and my pain level was at a 95% improvement. On that same visit, I had Dr. Bocian look at my left foot because I was experiencing the same pain but not quite as painful as my right. Another Morton’s neuroma was found in the 2nd IS left. I had the same symptoms as my right foot had before laser treatments. On April 6, 2016, I had laser treatment number 1 for painful neuroma 2nd interspace left foot. I completed the treatments on June 5, 2016. I have been pain free for both feet since that date. I walk, exercise, hike and just spent a week at the shore in New Jersey. Every day, I walked on the beach for miles and had no pain.
I have recommended Dr. Bocian’s laser treatments to anyone who mentions they have foot pain and have been told they have a Morton’s neuroma. The treatments were so easy to do and I had no discomfort during the time I had them. I could go on with my everyday activities with no after effects of the laser treatment.
I have been extremely satisfied with the results and my quality of life has drastically improved. I am an active person and this treatment gave me back the ability to stay active.
I definitely would recommend this treatment for Morton’s neuroma.
